For us, something had to change. Depression, addiction, chronic pain, even suicidal thoughts — life had lost its joy, and we were sinking deeper by the day.
The turning point came unexpectedly — a family reunion and a healthy dose of brother-in-law competition. What began as a challenge not to get shown up turned into something much bigger. Getting in shape for that trip ended up transforming everything.
The podcast was born from a simple goal — to support others who’ve hit rock bottom and are ready to rebuild. We don’t speak from a place of arrival, but from the middle of the journey, sharing what’s worked for us along the way. Real change comes through commitment and consistency — without them, there are no results.
No one knows the future, but we’ve learned to master the now. By focusing on what we can control today — our choices, our mindset, our actions — we’re building a journey toward health in body, spirit, and mind. The road isn’t always smooth; it’s full of challenges, discomfort, and moments of joy and sorrow. But what we do with the now is what shapes the future.
We’re not a mountain biking podcast, there’s already plenty of those — But mountain biking is a big part of what we do as we use it as a tool for health, growth, and connection, so you’ll hear plenty about the ride.
